In an official letter dated August 4, 2022, Frimprince Music Productions, the management of Evangelist Diana Asamoah, announced the termination of their contract with Diana Asamoah after 22 years of employment.
According to a statement made by Emmanuel Anane Frimpong, the owner of Frimprince Music Productions, Evangelist Diana Asamoah continually breaking their contract, making it impossible for them to continue to work together amicably.
All of Diana Asamoah's online properties, including her Facebook page, have been taken.
Additionally, nine of her well-known songs that were created by her former music executive, Anane Frimpong, will no longer be her property.
"Wo Na Mani Agyina Wo," "Mabowodin, Akoko Abon," "Madansidie," "Pentecost Gya," "Momomme," "Wo Damu Fua," "Tetelesta," and "Pentecost Soree" are the tunes.
Additionally, Frimprince Music will no longer assist in the planning of Diana's yearly concert, known as "Abba Father."
When she first met Rev. Simmon Yaw Boamah in Kumasi in the middle of the 1990s, evangelist Diana Asamoah launched her musical career.
"Wo na Mani Agyina wo," her debut album, was released. At that point, they met Mr. Anane Frimpong of Frimprince Music Productions, who made the decision to hire her.
With their captivating and calming music, the two have dominated the local gospel music scene for the past ten years.
Her hall of fame is full of accolades for reaching the pinnacle of accomplishments. She was in charge of planning Italy's first concert of African worship. She got a lot of awards and recognition in 2008 for her work in the gospel community.
Diana Asamoah's agreement with Frimprince Music is over
She received honors for being the best in Italy and Belgium (Best Gospel artist in Ghana in 2006 and 2008). She was the first musician to have lawmakers and high commissioners attend the record launch.
She is also well-known for hosting an annual concert called "Abba Father" that features famous gospel performers. In 2017 and 2018, the concert was successfully staged.
In addition to a number of up-and-coming performers, the program has featured Ceccy Twum, Rev. Obaapa Christy, Ohemaa Mercy, Yaw Sarpong, Winneba Youth Choir, and Evangelist I.K. Anning.
The Accra International Conference Center hosts this annual event (AICC). A sizable throng of gospel fans attended the 2018 edition. There is also a Kumasi version of the concert.
In addition to a number of up-and-coming performers, the program has featured Ceccy Twum, Rev. Obaapa Christy, Ohemaa Mercy, Yaw Sarpong, Winneba Youth Choir, and Evangelist I.K. Anning.
She was the first gospel performer to launch her own morning devotion on the radio in terms of evangelism (from Hello FM, Angel FM, and now Rainbow FM). Additionally, she plans her own prayer gatherings for Christians.
